Devipattinam, Thirupullani, Sethu Karai and Uthirakosamangai - the ancient shrines of the mainland, in a single day with a vehicle and driver.
Most visitors to Rameswaram never cross back over the Pamban bridge to see what lies on the mainland. Within an hour or so of the island are four sites that matter a great deal to pilgrims - a Navagraha temple standing in the sea, the shore where Rama is said to have begun building the Sethu, a Divya Desam, and a temple holding an emerald Nataraja.
This circuit covers them in one day. Choose whichever plan suits what your family has come for.
These schedules are a guide, not a fixed programme. Choose the start time that suits your family - the whole day shifts with it, and the driver will plan around you. Temple timings and the state of the tide at Devipattinam can also change the order slightly on the day.
The complete circuit. Best if this is your only day on the mainland and you want to see everything.

Nine stones stand in the shallow water off the shore at Devipattinam, representing the nine grahas. Worship here is performed at the water's edge, and pilgrims traditionally step into the sea to make their offerings. It is among the few places where the Navagraha are worshipped in open water rather than inside a temple hall.
Because the stones sit in the sea, how much of them is visible depends on the tide. Our driver will time the visit as best the day allows.
A Divya Desam, one of the 108 temples revered in the Tamil Vaishnava tradition. It is associated with Rama, who is said to have prayed here on a bed of darbha grass before the crossing to Lanka - which is why the deity is also known as Dharbhasayana Ramar.
The shore from which Rama is said to have begun building the Sethu. Pilgrims come to bathe at the ghat here, and many combine it with Thirupullani since the two are close together.
An ancient Shiva temple, and the only one of the four that lies inland. Its best-known feature is the Maragatha Nataraja, an image of Nataraja said to be carved from emerald, which is kept coated in sandalwood paste through most of the year.

You are not held to any of them. If you would rather swap a temple, spend longer at one, or add somewhere that is not listed, tell us when you enquire and we will build the day around it.
Tell us your date and which plan interests you. We will call you to confirm the fare and the timing.
